Prints, Please
You know those days where you know you just need a bit of print to help boost spirits? Even for a classics girl such as myself with drawers full of nautical stripes, and timeless navy-and-black combos, my eyes can’t help but swoon at the sight of digital prints, watercolours and bright graphics. What can I say. I’m Peranakan. There are entire museums dedicated to our love for a good high-contrast print.
On the shopping list, Hermès’ “Pelages et Camouflage” Twillys which I hope to get before the season ends. Ever since the failed speed-cutting of my bangs ($8 from Jean Yip, what a nightmare. Never again) before we went into the play at Raffles, I’ve had to wear my fringe up. “Your bangs are so cute, did you cut them yourself” is the surest sign of a failed haircut.
Until then, perhaps a trip to Dries Van Noten during lunch is in order.
