Glamour is Overrated
Funny story. I was getting a facial by Madonna’s stellar facialist, Michelle Peck when she was in town some years ago. Michelle was was fresh off Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour and spent her down time doing charity work in Malawi. She even zipped to Milan to refresh the faces of the DSquared2 boys, Dan and Dean, backstage before their show that season.
And there we were on the couch, where she surveyed my ankle-to-hip zipper leggings and told me if I hadn’t already discovered LNA by her friend April, I’d LOVE them. Michelle hooked us up and the rest is history.
For It-girls Kate Moss, Katie Holmes, Rachel Zoe and Jessica Alba, no day is complete without hours spent dodging paparazzi in easy, chic pieces.
For the rest of us who live our lives off camera, we’re just glad that even our essentials can be touched with a little bit of that magic. Rolling out of bed, slipping out of one LNA tank into another buttery-soft tee, blazer and Celine bag, LNA’s pared-down, wear-and-go West Coast sensibility resonates with high-low dressers everywhere.
